Editorial Policy & Sources

Ready4Korea exists to make Korea travel decisions easier for international visitors. This page explains how we research information, how we label time-sensitive details and how readers can help us improve a guide.

How we choose topics

We prioritize questions that can affect a traveler’s time, money, safety or ability to get around: airport transport, payment, addresses, public transport, emergency help, entry preparation and event planning. We also publish destination guides when we can explain a clear reason to visit and a practical way to plan the trip.

Our source standard

For facts that can change or affect a decision, we try to begin with the responsible primary source: a government agency, airport, transport operator, venue, tourism authority, embassy or official booking channel. We use reliable secondary sources only for context when a primary source is not available or does not answer the practical question.

We do not copy a source page. Our role is to organize the information around the decision a visitor needs to make, explain relevant limits and link readers to the source that can provide the latest confirmation.

Last checked dates

A Last checked date means that Ready4Korea reviewed the guide’s key time-sensitive details on that date. It is not a promise that a third party will never change its hours, price, route, eligibility rules or availability afterward. For an imminent trip, use the linked official source to confirm the final detail.

Facts, recommendations and limitations

We aim to distinguish official facts from our planning recommendations. A statement such as “this bus route is listed by the airport” is sourced information. A statement such as “choose the bus when your hotel is near a stop and you have heavy luggage” is Ready4Korea’s practical recommendation based on that information.

Ready4Korea does not provide individualized legal, immigration, medical, financial or emergency-services advice. Travelers should contact the relevant authority, insurer, health professional or emergency service for a situation that requires a personal or urgent decision.

Images, maps and visual aids

We use original visual aids, licensed or official images where permitted, and clearly labeled illustrative images. An illustrative image is not presented as a documentary photograph or a substitute for official operational information. Our goal is to use visuals to clarify a decision, route or place—not to decorate a page without adding information.

Commercial relationships

Ready4Korea may link to third-party services, including official booking channels and, where appropriate, affiliate partners. A commercial relationship does not determine our factual coverage or recommendations. When an affiliate relationship applies, we identify it clearly so readers can make an informed choice.

Corrections and updates

We welcome reports of factual errors, changed operating details, broken links and unclear explanations. Email contact@ready4korea.com with the guide URL and the detail that needs review. See our Corrections Policy for how we handle reports.
